Powered by the Sun…and My Six Cars!

My neighborhood in the Denver Metro area used to be a grouping of small to modest homes scattered across large plots of land with a pleasant view of the mountains.

Now, Environmentalcrits love nothing more than a beautiful view, particularly when enjoyed from the interior of a well-decorated, spacious living room, so when they heard about all the nature and stuff in Colorado, they tore down the old houses and put up McMansions instead.

I came home to visit this week and saw this newly-built castle on my block.  The presence of a six-car garage (yes, six) on one side of the house contrasted by a few solar panels on the other side make this home clearly the work of an Environmentalcrit.
